Mr. Benintende “Vince” is responsible for day to day operations since the inception of Hucke and Associates in 2001. This includes reviewing and analyzing the valuation of NYC property assessments, attending both Tax Commission and Law Department hearings, and acts as liaison between Hucke and Associates and all governmental departments within NYC. He oversees the training of all staff members and imparts his wisdom within the property tax field that he has acquired over the past 30 years.

Prior to joining Hucke and Associates, Vince was employed at Stroock, Stroock and Lavan as the Chief Assessment Review Specialist. He prepared all tax appeal applications, viewed for quality control, and attended both New York City Tax Commission and Law Department hearings. In addition, he reconciled refunds and worked on other complex matters such as property tax opinion letters and condominium and exemption problems.

In 1993, Vince worked with Peter at Marvin F. Poer and Company as a Senior Tax Consultant. His vast knowledge and experience in the field of assessments gave the firm additional credibility. At Poer, Vince oversaw the daily operations, which included the application process, attended all appeal hearings with the Tax Commission and was responsible for both petitions and refunds. In addition, he acted as Poer’s local Management Information Systems Coordinator.

Vince began his career in the assessment field in 1987 as a key assessor within the Equalization Unit of the New York City Department of Finance. There he assisted in developing the guidelines by which field assessors now utilize in valuing properties. In addition, he was responsible for analyzing all the assessor’s values within the Borough of Staten Island, as well as assisting in complex valuation reviews in the remaining boroughs. After acquiring experience, he attended Tax Commission hearings defending assessments for the NYC Department of Finance.
